The Ultimate Delusion of Vatican II ‘Catholicism’

God is merciful, but He is also just, and is therefore obliged to punish those who offend Him… With regard to those who abuse His mercy and despise Him, He exercises justice. The Lord pardons sins; but He can not pardon the determination to sin.” Thus how St. Alphonsus Liguori, Bishop and eminent Doctor of the Church, distinguishes the true notion of God, in his sermon on the Gospel for the Quinquagesima Sunday (cf., “Delusions of Sinners” posted last Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012), from the diabolical delusion “God is merciful!” – however seemingly pious, benign, and orthodox it may sound – which serves only to harden the sinner all the more in his sins to his final impenitence and irreversible eternal perdition. On this point, it is only well befitting to point out how the New ‘Catholic Theology’ of Vatican II fundamentally and therefore crucially departs from the traditional Catholic Theology (God is BOTH merciful AND just) of which St. Alphonsus Liguori was a representative and of which the Traditional Latin Mass is its expression* – following the Catholic axiom: “lex orandi, lex credendi,” that is, literally, “the law of praying is the law of believing,” or, loosely, “how one prays shows what one believes.”

* Just as the “Novus Ordo Missae” (the New Order of Mass promulgated by Pope Paul VI in 1969) is nothing but the fitting vehicle for mass-indoctrination in the new religion which passes itself as ‘Catholicism’ for the modern times.

The New ‘Catholic Theology’: “God is not cruel. It is not becoming of Him, being a God of Infinite Mercy and Love, to thirst for such bloody sacrifice of an Innocent on the Cross and to inflict such punishment of eternal misery of torments running from one extreme to another in a so-called ‘hell’!”

In the book, “Good Goats: Healing Our Image of God,” authored by the Jesuit Matthew Linn, Dennis Linn, and Sheila Linn and published by the Society of St. Paul, the New ‘Catholic Theology’ is hailed as the “New Evangelization.” And the ‘good news’ this Vatican II “New Evangelization” brings? The book proclaims: “God loves and heals unrepentant sinners[!]” See how the ‘Catholic’ authors, with the approbation of the General Superior of the Jesuits, call good that which Our Lord judged to be wicked thereby most impiously  revising the judgment pronounced on the “goats”. But, why will you contend with Me in judgment? How do you say: We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us? Indeed the lying pen of the scribes hath wrought falsehood (Jer. 2.29; 8.8).

The dogmatic revisions that can be logically pressed are not left to our ratiocination. They are bluntly proclaimed on its pages: all those considered in the traditional Catholic Order of things to be “damned” – the devils and the perverted souls – in hell will be saved in the end*; and, that the Catholic dogma of hell is nothing but a superstition and myth of the ‘Church of the Middle Ages’.

* Therefore “Do not judge!” as they say. This is the reason why the New Rite of Excorcism (approved by Pope Paul VI) is “useless” (Fr. Amorth, the Chief Exorcist at the Vatican): the New ‘Catholic Theology’ – to which everything in the New Ritual, the New Sacramentary, the New Missal, the New Breviary, the New Pontifical must conform – treats of demons as already harmless.

To give consistency to this New ‘theological system’, the impious innovators have struck at the foundation of theology: the data of Revelation. The new biblical scholars have stricken out the word “hell” from their New Biblical Translations and substituted the “netherworld” or “Hades” with all its pagan import! In the English-speaking world of the New ‘Catholic Order’ of Vatican II, the “New American Bible” (NAB), the “Jerusalem Bible” (JB), and the “New Revised Standard Version – Catholic Edition” (NRSV-CE) – the preferred updated Biblical version among the modern ‘Catholic’ scholars – all but suit the Catholic dogmatic revisions they desire, affording an authoritative (being approved by the Catholic Bishops Conferences to be used in the New ‘Catholic’ Liturgy) “Word of [g]od.”

Vatican II Popes and the ‘god’ of Vatican II New ‘Catholic Order’

Pope John XXIII in opening the Second Vatican Council, adopted an attitude which was completely novel and plainly announced as being a new departure for the ‘Church’. “She prefers today to make use of the medicine of mercy, rather than of the arms of severity… by showing the validity of her teachings rather than by issuing condemnations*” (“L’Osservatore Romano,” 12 October 1962). Why? “The imposition of rules is not liked these days” (in Msgr. Felici, ibid., 25 April 1981). The Roman Pontiff did not say “is of no use,” but “is not liked.” The Pontiff must have forgotten this divine injunction for judges: Thou shalt not yield in judgment, to the opinion of the most part, to stray from the truth (Ex. 23.2).

* Anathema sit! (“Let him be anathema!” – Gal. 1.8), thus has the Church always proclaimed herself to be the infallible teacher of the truth.

Pope John XXIII believed that at last, man is already intellectually mature and therefore responsible enough as to recognize his errors and correct them himself. Accordingly, he let loose theologians and biblical scholars whose impious mouths had been tightly muzzled and whose works were suspect, censured, or condemned under the reign of Pope Pius XII, and gave them the opportunity at the Second Vatican Council to ‘prove themselves better’ as “periti” (or theological expert-consultants of the Council Fathers – the Bishops). Did the radicals change and finally submit to the doctrine and discipline of Our Lord? Like Hans Kung, considered to be the “leading light” of Vatican II, they had rather become more bold in entrenching themselves in and publishing their diabolical errors – except Fr. Joseph Ratzinger (now Pope Benedict XVI) who, though, had second thoughts after having seen the disastrous effects of their condemned theories, has yet to repudiate a double allegiance* to the God of the traditional Catholic Order and to the ‘god’ of the New ‘Catholic Order’ – which he helped erected. Hans Kung gloated: “Compared to the post-Tridentine epoch of the Counter-reformation, Vatican II represents in its fundamental characteristics, a 180-degree turnIt is a new Church that has sprung up since Vatican II” (in A. Guimaraes, “Animus Delendi – I,” p. 61). A new ‘god’ has found for himself a new ‘Church’.

* The case also with the ‘conservative’ priestly and religious communities (as the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, the Institute of Christ the King, etc.) under the “Ecclesia Dei” Commission who, in exchange for their ‘official’ recognition by the local bishop (which also means “full communion” with the Holy See), uphold the Traditional Rite of Catholic Worship merely on the ground of its “beauty,” “solemnity,” etc. but not for Whom it truly is on the one hand and for ‘whom’ the New Rite is on the other. And so, they can not speak against the New ‘Mass’ (being the ritual expression of the New ‘Catholic’ Orientation of Vatican II) but must accept it as rather the “ordinary” norm of divine worship while the Traditional Latin Mass is now only something of a fringe Rite.

Pope John Paul II lifted the decree of excommunication against the Greek schismatics without demanding that the rebels renounce first their crime of tearing the robe of Christ by their division and finally accept the dogma of the sovereign dominion of the Roman Pontiff throughout Christendom. How could that be so? Why, as the New ‘Catholicism’ has it: “[g]od loves and heals unrepentant sinners[?]” And did not Pope Benedict XVI also lift the declaration of “excommunication” issued by the Congregation of the Bishops against Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre and the four auxiliary bishops of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X (SSPX) whom the Archbishop consecrated without the ‘incumbent’ Roman Pontiff demanding that the SSPX auxiliary bishops formally apologize first for their alleged offence against Catholic Unity then return to “full communion” with and loyalty to the Pope?

A New ‘Catholic Theology’, a New ‘god’, a New worship

A new god does not call only for a new ‘Church’; a new god demands a new rite of worship: a “Novus Ordo Missae” (“The New Order of Mass”).  For this reason, we, the Discalced religious of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mt. Carmel, can never consent  to this dissimulation (Gal. 2.13) of the hierarchy infested with false apostles and lying prophets in large numbers (the Sedevacantists claim that the entire hierarchy, from top to bottom, has turned apostate; cf., our post and commentary against this position: “On the Sedevacantist Position: A Reply“), but most especially  to the modern-day dissimulation of Cephas (the “rock” plain and simple in the original Aramaic language spoken by Our Lord Who built on it His Church) when, in his “motu proprio” “Summorum Pontificum”, he relegated outside the norm of Christian life the true God and the Rite of Worship He Himself determined, as prefigured in the OT rite of worship, to be due and worthy of Him and allowed instead the worship of the idol of the new guiding lights of Vatican II to be norm at the Catholic sanctuary – but a sanctuary now remodeled after the temple of the Freemasons (cf., our post “The Catholic Sanctuary Prefigured in the Old Testament II)! With St. Paul, though an inferior of the Prince of the Apostles, we with[stand] Cephas to his face, because he [is] to be blamed! (Gal. 2.11) for tolerating the Catholic sanctuary to be the grand venue where the Divine Spouse is rather made to share only on the sacrilegious “table” of a whore! And with our Founder and Father, the Prophet Elias, we must thunder all the more the rebuke the Word of God uttered through His venerable mouthpiece on Mt. Carmel against the whole Israel in whom there is no soundness… from the sole of the foot unto the top of the head (Is. 1.6): How long do you halt between two sides? (3 Ki. 18.21) If the God of the traditional Catholic Order is the true God, Him alone ought we worship. If the idol of Teilhard de Chardin, SJ; Karl Rahner, SJ; Dominique Chenu, OP; Yves Congar, OP; Edward Schillebeechx, OP; Hans Kung; Fr. Ratzinger; and the like is the true God, then follow and worship him.

I know thy works, that thou art neither cold, nor hot. I would thou wert cold, or hot. But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold, nor hot, I will begin to vomit thee out My mouth (Apoc. 3. 15-16).

Let us then all the more pray and offer our sacrifices – in union with the Immaculate Heart of Mary and with the Holy Sacrifice of Our Lord on His high altar throughout the world – for our Holy Father and all our pastors in true communion with him that they may heed the admonition of the Divine Physician: Be zealous therefore, and do penance (Apoc. 3.19).

    In today’s Gospel (Tuesday after the First Sunday of Lent) Our Lord entered Jerusalem as a Physician who entered a sick city. Jerusalem was sick: From the sole of the foot unto the top of the head, there is no soundness therein (Is. 1.6). And as the Good Physician, He first “appl[ied] Himself to the source of the sickness,” says a learned writer in the “Catena Aurea” of St. Thomas Aquinas – that is, the Temple. “For,” continues the same writer, “as every thing good cometh out of the Temple, so also doth every evil.” And what of the Temple? The same writer again precisely points out: “…When the priesthood is sound, the whole Church flourishes, but if it is corrupt, faith is impaired; and as when you see a tree whose leaves are pale-coloured you know that it is diseased at its root, so when you see an undisciplined people, you conclude without hesitation that their priesthood is unsound.”

    The cleansing and healing action of the Divine Physician in today’s Gospel is considered to be rather directed to those whom He appointed to be responsible for the Temple – the Priests. There is found in the Temple their complicity.
